White Paper Series

In March 2024, Heidi Boghosian and Johanna Fernandez attended the A.J. Muste Conference hosted by Hope College in Holland, MI.

Throughout the conference, many activists and writers spoke about A.J. Muste’s life and legacy especially in a modern day context. These conversations grew into larger discussions about nonviolence, peace, and anti-war organizing.

Having been inspired by the conversations that took place, the A.J. Muste Foundation has launched a White Paper Series!

  • Echoes of 1915: U.S. Betrayal of Promise to Armenia by Michael Vakian

  • Applying A.J. Muste’s Ideas on Social Change in a Modern Context by Peter Muste

  • Peace is the Way and Violence is a Many-Headed Hydra by Jo Ann Ooiman Robinson
